Mother Angioletta Dognini Co-Foundress (endeared by the sisters as Imat) of the Little Sisters of Mary Immaculate of Gulu- (LSMIG) had the vision to establish a contemplative wing of the LSMIG to constantly pray for the active members engaged in various missions. Inspired by the vision of Mother Angioletta, Sr Balbina Ayaa, LSMIG (RIP) laid the foundation of Bishop Angelo Negri Spiritual Centre-(BANSC) in the Year 1990 which has been opened officially in 2014.

Amidst the busy schedules and noise that engulfs our daily life, BANSC offers a simple serene and quiet environment for individuals and groups to rest, to slow down, learn, reflect and receive hospitality with love and kindness from our competent staff. The mission of BANSC is to create a serene environment for prayer, renewal, educational and community service.

BANSC has an accommodation facility, a conference facility, a dining hall, a chapel and a beautiful secure internal garden set in serene location perfect for outdoor activities and relaxation.

BANSC is open to receive guests from all walks of life:- the Clergy, the Religious, the Laity, as well as secular individuals and organizations.

The 6 competent retreat facilitators who are members of the LSMIG have an accumulated experience over several years to share with you. Groups can as well come with their own facilitators. BANSC's aims at providing you with a fulfilling retreat and conference experience

Around the premises there is a pathway that allow the retreatants/participants to walk leisurely, pray and relax in the beauty of nature. A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like the sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone and feel the charm of his existence in this spot.
